Tasting Notes
Shows complexity of flavour, with both youthful primary fruit and some savoury notes, and has a long and layered palate.
Producer's Notes
Barrel fermentation and maturation in French oak.
The grapes for M3 are hand picked, chilled and whole bunch pressed prior to barrel fermentation and maturation in French oak. Wild yeast fermentation, extended time on yeast lees and partial malolactic fermentation impart further complexity and flavour.
Reviews & Accolades
(2009 vintage)
96 points: Pale but bright straw‐green; the bouquet has some fragrant blossom notes that merge into the multilayered palate with its display of white peach, nectarine and fig, then distinctly creamy cashew notes before what can only be described as seductive acidity on the finish. Screwcap. (James Halliday, June 2011)
