Since 1994 our modest goal has been to be the very best that we can possibly be but what does that mean to you?

Firstly, Lifford Wine Agency is committed to searching the world to find the finest, the rarest and perhaps the most elusive wines of all, wines of exceptional quality and value. Our sales team spends months on the wine road every year seeking such wines while gaining invaluable insights into what makes our wineries so special. Our thirty-five member team has decades of experience and have taken countless courses in wine education to further hone their skills. Our top notch team of drivers deliver your wine in temperature controlled trucks. This ensures that the wine arrives in perfect condition.

Our commitment to our community goes further than just the successful sale of exceptional wines at exceptional prices.

Lifford Wine Agency is committed to being part of the solution in the ecological challenge that faces our world. We purchase our power through Bull Frog Power which provides us with power sourced from renewable energy. We are a Gold Standard Carbon Neutral Company with Tree Canada. This means that we have calculated our ecological footprint and we have planted trees to offset our emissions. Gold Standard means that the trees we plant every year will reabsorb our annual carbon footprint in ten years.

In late 2007 we launched our new wine, plantatree, at the LCBO. For every bottle we sell we are going to donate to Tree Canada enough money to plant one tree. Our goal in the first year is to fund the planting of 100,000 trees. Our mandate is to eventually launch this wine across the entire country. This is a non-profit undertaking for us, but we feel the effort has more important rewards.

Our ecological efforts are above and beyond the support for the community. We do this in part through our three major annual fund raisers. These are our annual Lifford Grand Tasting in Support of Delisle Youth Services, our Women’s Night Out in support of Lupus research and Boys’ Night Out in support of Prostate Cancer research.
